The client
base of SMI® is unlimited. Our professional clients are vast and
varied and can be found in small, medium and large companies,
including multinational corporations.. They include business
owners, salespeople, managers, executives, dentists, doctors,
lawyers, accountants, financial planners, realtors, retail store
owners, restaurant owners, etc.
Many of our
personal clients or companies want to improve personal and
organisational productivity, so that they are more competitive and
profitable. And, they are prepared to modify their habits and
implement more effective management methods so that they and their
organisation have ‘an edge’.
Our clients
have often experienced some of the following situations:
- Lack of
personal organisation
- Under high
stress
- Never seem
to have enough time to ‘get the right things done”
- Using a
‘fire fighting’ approach to managing
- Working
long hours
- A
sensation that people in their organisation are not focussed on
common goals and seem to be going in different directions
- Absence of
a sense of achievement
- Unable to
clearly measure the results of work effort
- Difficulty
in achievement of profitable projects for the company
- Lack of
planning and prioritisation
- Lack
motivation
- Concerned
about the future of the company
- Some
people in the organisation are not performing or being sufficiently
productive
- Focussing
on the here and now and not having sufficient time to plan for the
future of the company
- Teams not
performing effectively
In the
future, more and more jobs will require professional thinking and
reasoning skills as opposed to labor skills. This is completely
reverse from 50 years ago.
Survey
after survey has found that companies have great to very great
difficulty filling professional positions. More than 67% have
difficulty finding technical and other skilled workers.
The trend
is to cut back and get more accomplished with fewer people. This
means companies must employ self-motivated, competent people to
take up the slack left by a shrinking staff.
Of the new
jobs in the next decade, 85% will be generated by companies that
employ fewer than 1000 people. Ninety percent of all companies fall
into this small and mid-size range and do not have self-motivation
programs. They depend on outside resources such as SMI to provide
this.
Competition
is becoming fiercer by the day. To effectively compete, you must
constantly improve performance through self-motivation.
The message
is clear! People must accelerate their development to make the
required changes in their careers - or face the possibility of
being left behind. Whereas continuing education and development of
potential, skills, and talents were once considered the answer,
today self-motivation is becoming even more important. Individuals
at every level are searching for programs that will provide a
winning edge.
SMI's
self-motivation programs are an answer to one of the marketplace's
greatest needs - to increase the productivity and quality of
personal performance around the world. |
